Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to become stranded in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young siblings is a watch of Chewbacca’s family in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).. Featured AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022) Skeleton Crew is a television series for children.
Skeleton Crew starts in the suburbs
That’s good, because Star Wars has often been kid-friendly, and why shouldn’t there be kids’ shows with a Star Wars theme? But it’s not a show about adult-friendly kids like Stranger Things or Paper Girls. It’s more like a show specifically designed to appeal to ten-year-olds and no one else.
So it was an interesting twist for a moment or two
It’s a suburb of the Star Wars universe, but take away the robots and aliens, it could have been where I grew up. Unfortunately, these suburbs are full of boring characters with uninteresting problems. Yes, this all sets up for the big moment at the end of the first episode, but that first episode made me so bored that I started skipping ahead about halfway through and even the final act seemed – meh.
So that’s all I watched
Will it get better and when will Jude Law show up? Maybe. But I feel like if the first episode of a show is so boring that I can’t stand it, it’s not going to get better anytime soon.
