Line of Events
The Garvey sisters are bound together by their parents’ deaths and a promise to always protect each other. Several of the main cast members have prominent Irish family members. Sharon Horgan (Eva) is the sister of former Irish rugby player Shane Horgan. Eve Hewson (Becca) is the daughter of U2’s Bono. Brian Gleeson (Thomas) is the son of actor Brendan Gleeson and brother of actor Domhnall Gleeson. Featured in Jeremy Vine: Episode #5.195 (2022). The acting is convincing. Especially Claes Bang, from Denmark, playing the controlling bully. The story has some red herrings that keep us guessing. There’s enough action and humor to carry what could have been a very dark story.
