Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn’t just help you create – it’s essential to survival! Four misfits – Garrett “Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) – find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they’re suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal to the Overworld – a strange, cubic world that thrives on imagination. To return home, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) as they embark on a magical journey with an unexpectedly skilled craftsman, Steve (Jack Black). Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and reconnect with the qualities that make them uniquely creative…the same skills they need to thrive in the real world.
