The Wool Trilogy is one of the best books I have ever read. I was extremely hesitant to watch Shiloh because I had such a vivid insider view of this post-apocalyptic world from the books and I didn’t want to ruin it.
I mean the framework, events, and basics of what the books excelled at
That being said, I’m halfway through season 1 and it’s nothing like the books in the best way! However, most of the detailed storyline is completely new and polished and fills in the gaps in things that were hinted at or glossed over in the books.

What I’m happy about is that I still have a separate version of the books in my head and the show is like a new fun version. I have to say they did a great job with the acting and the sets.
Super well done!
But the changes set the book apart and I love it. This might be the first time I’ve been happy that the show isn’t like the books, but I still really enjoy the show.
